Watch for solicitation scams
Private companies mail trademark “renewal,” “directory,” and “publication” notices that look official and are not. They often use language copied from real USPTO filings and ask for hundreds of dollars. USPTO correspondence comes from uspto.gov; when in doubt, check your own file status in TSDR before paying anything.
